HAAA Art Shows

Current Rotating Art Venues - There are several rotating venues that are currently available to our members. If you would like to participate, go to our Events Page on our website to find a scheduled rotation and a registration form.

Special Event Art Shows - HAAA also sponsors special art venues throughout the Hershey area. These shows are featured in our HAAA Website under the Current Events page. Members may register to particpate, show and sale their art at these special events.

ART SHOW REQUIREMENTS

  • Artwork must properly meet HAAA Show Guidelines.

  • Artists selling art need a valid PA sales tax license,* and will remit 20% of any sales to the HAAA scholarship fund at PO Box 654 Hershey PA 17033.

Preparing your work to show can be intimidating or overwhelming. Use our handy guide to help you get started:

  • Make sure your membership is up to date, only members may participate.

  • Make sure to send a registration to the event chairperson prior to the event. You can find link to show registration form on the show event page.

  • Properly frame or finish the edges of your piece.

  • Wire it properly using D-rings or eyelets and an appropriate gauge wire. No "sawtooth" hangers are permitted. Proper wiring is necessary due to the hanging systems that are used at exhibits.

  • The show chairperson for each show, will provided you at show with a hang tag for each piece you will be displaying.

  • Arrive at the time that is announced by the chairperson. Some venues require us to be there at a certain time and as one group.

HAAA Virtual Art Gallieres

From time to time HAAA features virtual art galleries of our members work on our website. Here are the guidlines for sending and preparing photos/jpegs of your art to insure they look their best when shown on the HAAA webiste.

When photographing your artwork for best presentation on HAAA website, please follow our suggest guidelines below.

HOW TO SUBMIT PHOTOS FOR HAAA WEBSITE GALLERies

When submitting a jpeg/photo of your art, please use the following label format:

  • [last name][first name] - [name of piece].jpg

  • ie: smith john - my masterpiece.jpg

Please include a brief description about the media that you used. If you would like, you may watermark your before you send it.

Once you've labeled and saved your photo correctly, please send it, using the email link button below.
