Annville-Cleona Community Arts Day is Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Christ Church United Church of Christ, 200 South White Oak Street, Annville, PA.
This free event is a celebration of the arts in our community from pre-schools/nursery schools, elementary and secondary schools, college students and residents of Annville-Cleona, as well as the surrounding communities. We are excited to announce that the Sadecky Puppets will open our day at 10:00 am with a live performance, and rounding out the day will be the Washington Band of Annville at 3:00 pm in our sanctuary. Other performances will be schedule throughout the day, including a “spotlight performance” time for those who may only have a song, or two to share. Visual Art exhibits will be ongoing throughout the day including artists from the Hershey Area Art Association and Phylis Dryden (photography) having their art for sale. There will also be fun free art activities for children. Free refreshments from local business will be available.
For HAAA Members:
This is a new community art show, where Hershey Area Art Association (HAAA) members can showcase and sell their art. If you are interested in participating, please complete and submit the event registration below.
Registration Deadline October 20, 2018
All HAAA members in good standing and submitting the below required application are eligible.
Each artist may submit up to 6 pieces of original art (3D artists are welcome too - will have table space) and artwork does not need to be for sale.
There will be a cloth bin for matted, unframed original work - no prints.
Greeting cards and 3D items are acceptable.
All artwork must be wired for hanging and properly meet HAAA Show Guidelines.
All exhibitors must help to tear down exhibit. (Set-up Sat, Nov 3rd 9:00 am, Tear down, 4:00 PM.)
All exhibitors need to stay for the day.
Artists selling their art, need to have a valid PA Sales Tax License (If no, and you intend to sell art, you will need a license. Please check General Information and Policies on the HAAA website for help to acquire a license.) *
Members will remit 15% of any sales that are made at their show to HAAA to benefit the HAAA scholarship fund.
Artists can apply to show their work at the “AC Community” Art show on the HAAA website.
HAAA and Christ Church and AC Community Art Show Committee are not responsible for any loss, stolen or damage to any artwork.
HAAA requests the right to photograph work for press information or cataloging of the exhibit.
