The Hershey Area Art Association’s “Art in Bloom” show will be held downtown Hershey in the beautiful grand lobby of the Hershey Story Museum. We will have over 20 local artists exhibiting their paintings, photography, and more 2D art! This is one of the art shows helping to celebrate HAAA’s 30th Anniversary bringing local artists together and enriching our community with art.
This 3 Day Art Show will be on display - March 28, 29 from 9am to 5pm, Sunday, March 30, on display from 9am to 4:30pm
HAAA Member Artists, if you are interested in participating, please review the guidelines below, and complete the event registration form on our website. Registration Deadline March 25th. (Click Event Registration tab below).
All HAAA members in good standing are eligible to showcase, exhibit, and sell their fine 2D art. There is limited 3D space, please contact co-chairs prior to registering.
All submitted 2D display art must be original art, no prints.
Art Rack space is limited for this show, if you plan on displaying any art greater than 24” x 36”, please specify the size when filling in the Show Registration Form, under the “Additional Message” box. This will help us in accommodating enough display area for larger art.
There will be space for selling cards.
Set-up is Thursday, March 27 between 2 and 5pm. Details to come. For those who work or have a time conflict to hang the art, please contact Cynthia or John to make other arrangements.
All exhibiting artists will be asked to work a two-to-three-hour shifts at the cashier/checkout table during the show. Please update your perferred date - time slots in “Additional Message” box of your registration form.
On Sunday, March 30th, we ask all artists to help tear down at 4:30 pm on Sunday.
All hanging artworks must be wired properly (check HAAA Show Guidelines on hersheyart.org under resources – art shows for specifics).
We will provide you with HAAA description tags to write the title of the art, medium, artist’s name, and cost of the art (price + tax = final price).
Artists selling their art need to have a valid PA Sales Tax License
Members will remit 20% of any sales that are made at their show to HAAA to benefit the HAAA scholarship fund.
HAAA and the Hershey Story Museum are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork.
HAAA Members exhibiting will have read and agree to the Hershey Area Art Association, “General Information and Policy Statement” found on the HAAA website: hersheyart.org
HAAA requests the right to photograph work for press information or cataloging of the exhibit.
